	4th.Feb. HANEDA-(SK713)-SAPPORO 　１２：３０　　　　　　　　　　１４：００ I was in the Hokkaido University. I longed for the day of my student. The campus of snow was as beautiful as ever.
The snow festival in Sapporo had been holding. I seldom went seeing this event in my student days. But this time I saw that carefully. I was satisfied.
	5th.Feb I met two seniors and ate a lunch togather. A menu was noodles with curry. It was very delicious because of hot spice.
6th.Feb SAPPORO-(JL506)-HANEDA 　　９：５５　　　　　　　　　　　１１：３０ From now on I started my milage trip. 7th.Feb NARITA-(JL725)-JAKARTA 　１１：１０　　　　　　　　１７：１０ The imigration at Jakarta airport was taken for a long time. And it was so hot. So I was completely worn out.
	JAKARTA-(GA218)-YOGYA 　１９：２０　　　　　　　　　　　２０：２０ I worried whether I could catch the plane to Yogya. But I was in the waiting room. I could make a good start.
.8th.Feb. I enjoyed the first morning in Indonesia. I felt good unexpectedly
	This was fried noodles, scrambled eggs and mangoes on the left side. The othere side were soup noodles, fried eggs and pineaapples. It was delicious.
I went to a royal palace(Kraton) by a bycycle. It cost me Rp 10,000(entrance fee) and Rp 6,000 (carring camera fee). I experienced the carring camera fee for the first time. By the way Rp 10.000 is about 100 yen.
	It was so crowded on the road. Lots of motorbikes run as if they owned the place. They were very good drivers.
Next I went to a detached palace (Taman Sari). I felt that water in the pool looked like cool.
	9th.Feb Borobudur was one of the places that I wanted to see. It was a grand Buddhism temple. In Japan the temples were made of woods but in Indonesia those were made of stones. So I was overwhelmed.
I saw volcano Merapi on my way to Borobudur. It looked like Mt. Fuji and beautiful volcano. But I heard that it erupted often.
	There were many stupas. I thought I entered the strange world. What a wonder scene it was !
This is temple Mendut near Borobudur. There were three images of Buddha inside.

	The lunch was smorgasbord. It cost me Rp 65,000. It was expensive in that country.
I was with a guide in front of volcano Merapi. He spoke Japanese fluently.
	10th.Feb. This was a gas station on my way to Mt. Bromo. It was clean and uniform in color and size. Gasoline was Rp 4,500 (45 jpy). I said it was so cheap. But a guide said it was expensive to consider the standard of living or prices of commodities. I was convinced by this conversation.
I arrived at hotel in the foot of Mt. Bromo. It was 12-hour-trip. I ate rice and chicken for dinner. It was 175jpy. What do you think about this price ?
	11th.Feb I was waiting for sun rise at Mt.Penanjakan observatory. There were lots of people. It was not so cold expectedly.
This is dawn of Mt. Bromo. It was so beatiful and misterious. This scene was worth of 12-hour-trip. I was very satisfied.
	This is Mt Bromo. We could ride a horse from parking lot to the foot of Mt. Bromo, but I walked through all the way. And I went up to the top. A crater looked like Mt. Aso.
Lunch was Nasi campur (left) and Mie Goreng.
	12th.Feb. I went to Solo and saw Radja Pustaka museum instead of Kraton Kasunanan. I make a rule to go to museum to understand the city.
Kraton Mangkunegaran. Now the royal family lives here. It was cool inside because of its big space.
	This building was looked like Kraton in Yogya.
Lunch was smorgasbord. What do you think how much it was ? Only 165 jpy. I thought it was easy to live in Indonesia.
	Next I went to Prambanan which was Hinduism temple. I saw Hinduism temple for the first time but I did'nt understand the diffrence between Buddhism and Hinduism temple. This temple was more impressive than Borobudur.
Lolo jonggrang temple was the biggest temple in Prambanan. The left is Siva sanctuary. But I couldn't go into there because the temple had danger of collapse. The relieves were amazing.
	Sewu temple was at the north side. It was under repair.
I went seeing Java traditinal dance. I enjoyed this dance, but I couldn't understand the story well. Maybe it was story of prince and princess.
	13th.Feb. YOGYA-(GA205)-JAKARTA I met my friend at Jakarta. A purpose visiting Jakarta was to meet my friend. I ate Japanese food and talked with him for a long time. He worka for goverment to make a map network.
Dinner was Chinese food. Today was the end of year in Chinese. So the restaurant was so crowded.
	14th.Feb. I visited Bogor botanical garden. My friend recommended. It was very nice. Especially an orchid garden was very beautiful.

I ordered Nasi Goreng (left). This is very popular.
	I saw the replica of Pithecanthropus(Java man) in the animal museum. It remainded me of the replica of Peking man in Peking.
I had dinner at Japanese food restaurant. The pleasant trip would be over soon. I was very satisfied with meeting him.
	15th.Feb. What do you think about it ? This is a drawbridge. But It can't jump up, because it was laid asphalt on the surface
This is Pasar Ikan ( fish market). In spite of the fish market they sold many kind of goods. I was interested in the anchor and very thick iron chain. I wondered whether such goods were sold.
	There were lots of wooden sailing ships with engine at Sunda Kelapa port. I have never seen such a scene.
