I had been to Xian where I had a great longing for.
An in-flight meal (bowl with eel and soba noodles)is very nice.

A plane was delayed for an hour at Pudong airport in Shang Hai.
For that reason I arrived at Xian at midnight.
When I was out the airport , a sight was bad because of haze.
It just looked like yellow sands.
After all I arrived at a hotel at 2:00 a.m. on April 17th.
I was very tired.

I got up at 7:00 a.m. and then went to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.
This museum was the place where I was looking forward to seeing for many years.
I was deeply overwhelmed with the sight.
There were thousands of warriors and lots of horses.
Lots of them were taller than I.
The average their height is about 1.75 m.
But the horses were lower when it was compred with the warriors.
A left picture is a No. 2 coach made of copper.
A No.1 coach is displayed at an international exposition in Shang Hai.
A right one is warrior and horse.
He looks like saying Shin Huang-ti was great.
This is a monument of Shin Huang-ti mousoleum. There was only a monument.
that was all. I went up to the mousoleum.
There was nothing on the top.
I couldn't see the town clearly because of haze.
I was tired again
.
A lunch was Xian style cooking.
Vegetable cooking was main and it's delicious.
A beer costs 20 gen ( 300 yen).
After the lunch I went to Historical Museum where is one of the most famous museum in China.
This is small dolls. They were very cute.
This is a bell tower where is in the center of town. Four roads cross each other there. When I saw this one I felt I was in Xian.
This is a blue dragon temple.
Kukai (Koubou Daishi) learned Buddhism here.
Then this temple is said as No.0 temple.

If you want to go around 88 temples in Shikoku, you should visit here.
Then youwill be satisfied very much after you finish going around
.
This is dry landscape garden in that place.
I felt like as if I was in Japan.
Many japanese visited here throughout year.
A lunch was vegetarian cuisine. Meat was made from vegetable. I ate this meal but it was very dericious.
I went to Dayata Pagoda (Da Cien Temple).
Pagoda leans to west.
A Guide said things that lean are the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Dayata Pagoda and the Communist Party in China (the Liberal Democratic Party in Japan).
It was nice joke.
This is west gate.
The Silk Road continued from here.
Western suburbs of a castle wall developed and I couldn't see the sight of one.
I walked around old cultural street. There were lots of antique shop on the street.
People played Chainese chess. Many people were watching the game.
It was as if the Showa era.
A dinner was gyouza feast. About 20 kinds of gyouza were served.
I was deeply satisfied with this feast.

The last picture is Xian airport.

I went to Dalian to see acasia blossoms.
Dalian is popul among Japanese because it is near from
Japan and travel fee is very cheap.
Imigration at Dalian was so crowded of Japanese.

This is Dalian air port.
This building has the international
and domestic line.
It was small but light and clean.
I felt comfortable.
I was surprised at seeing a lot of taller buildings.
More than 50 floors buildings were in the town.
It was not the scene that I expected but it was exciting.
These are an acrobatic feats (circus) trainer's domitory
and training school. People likes the feats very much.
I didn't watch that this time.
This is the theater of the acrobatic feats where was called
as Higashi Honngannji Temple before 1945.
Before 1945 there were Dalian shrine, Hishi Honngannji and
Higashi Honngannji. Dalian shrine were transfered to Yamaguchi
prefecture and Hishi Honngannji was destroyed during the Great
Cultural Revolution. And HIgashi Honngannji has been left.
This building is the hotel where was built in 1914 and
called as Yamato hotel before 1945.
This is at south of Zhongashan Circus.
I couldn't enter the hotel because of no resavation.
This is a bank where was built in 1909 and called as Yokohama Shoukinn Bank before.

It is just right across from the Yamato
Hotel.
It looks like it is in the fantastic world. This is an old Manchuria railroad head office.
I have ever watched the movie about The Russo-Japanese War
that was done in 1904 in my child.
I came to 203 high hill at last. The monument behind me
was buit by general Nogi.
I prayed for repose of the soldiers' soul.
This is a Japanese cannon. Of course this is a replica.
I could overlook Lushun port
I understood that this area was a strategic point to come here.
This is Shuishiying meeting house.
This house was rebuilt
in 1996. Lots of Japanese were at this point.
I got on the tram.
It was beautifull, fast.and comfortable.
But it was inconvenient that next station was not indicated.
I thought there are few tourists to get on this tram.
If I get on this alone, I have to count the stations from bigining

This is Star-See circus where is the largest circus in Asia.
This was made in memory of the return of Hong Kong in 1997.
You can see lots of buildings in the distance.
All of them are
very expensive condominium.
People's dream are to live there.

This is Laohutan. How many tigers are there ?
It's six tigers.
One is behind five tigers.
This is Dalian station which was built in 1937.
It is said that it looks like Ueno and Otaru station.
This is old town where Japanese lived before 1945.
But this area today was rebuilt.
I can see few Japanese house.
The houses in this area are sold but no one buy those.
Because people think that a detached house is not useful.
They prefer the condominiums.
This is Dalian port.
Lots of repatriates left for Japan, Maizuru from here.
My parent and brother did.
This place reminded me of a certain song
A man among our turist worked at this port for three months
before the end of the war in 1945.
He was looking hard at the sea.
I went to Kinsyuu. Kinsyuu was opened lately to turists.
Because after Japanese has read the novel "the clouds
above the slopeh written by Ryoutaro Shiba, they want to go to Kinsyuu.
So I visited the temple which is responsive to prayer for money and health.
This is golden tree. Maybe I get much money.

This is a plate of an old battlefield Nanzan.
I could see a only plate.
It was the wasted time to go to Kinsyuu.

I was regrettable that I couldn't see acasia blossoms.
But I was satified.
First I enjoyed the lounge at Narita and Dalian airport
because of useing JAL.
Second the expense was very cheap. Maybe it's cheaper than
domestic travel.
Third Dalian was clean and beautiful.
